Skye8 training program. Here's one reason why.
Four months ago we organised an IT training program for kids.
We trained them on the very basics of IT, and this boy Joshua stood out amongst all the other trainees. Joshua is a 12-year-old boy in Form 2 and a very fast learner. Just into the second week of learning, he was already versed with MS Office.
During the day of graduation, his mum asked me a question: "What next? Will there be a follow-up or another training?"
This reminded me of the need to teach and grow youngsters with the skills needed to thrive in this digital and emerging world. This has been one of the many inspirations we at Skye8 have gotten. That's why we are organising this three-phase training program for teens, where we'll be teaching them two things: coding and financial education.
